President Donald Trump was talking about his supposedly “great” plan to replace Obamacare. He has shown that he really doesn’t know what he’s doing here. He actually said:
“It’s an unbelievably complex subject. Nobody knew that healthcare could be so complicated."

Trump says he has a "really, really great" plan for Obamacare. He adds:"Nobody knew that healthcare could be this complicated." pic.twitter.com/D17GbQk2iq

Seriously?! For those of us who struggle with chronic illnesses, we know how complicated the healthcare system is. Insurance companies change rules all the time. I’m sure Trump has never had to wonder how to pay for a healthcare bill. He doesn’t have to worry about it.
One proposal said:
“Obamacare simply does not work. It cannot be amended or fixed through incremental changes. Obamacare must be repealed so that Congress can move forward with the kinds of reforms that will give Americans the care they deserve.”
They have proposed using Health Savings Accounts, which will not work. Health Savings Accounts are pre-tax funds out of your paycheck. If you can’t afford insurance, then taking money away will not help you.
They also want to allow insurance companies to charge by age, which is discriminatory. They would also like to use “high-risk pools,” which would give the states a finite block of money for healthcare.
They have yet to come up with a viable plan, and Trump barely knows anything about the law he’s been spouting about for the last two years.
